托德： 嘿，玛丽卡!

Marika: Hey!

玛丽卡：嘿!

Todd: How you doing?

托德： 你好吗?

Marika: I'm OK. How are you?

玛丽卡：挺好，你呢?

Todd: Good. Marika do you like summer?

托德： 挺好，玛丽卡你喜欢夏天吗?

Marika: No, I don't like summer. It's my least favorite season.

玛丽卡：不喜欢，我不喜欢夏天，夏天是我最不喜欢的季节。

Todd: Wow, why?

托德： 啊，为什么?

Marika: Because I don't like hot weather. I don't like being hot and sweaty and uncomfortable.

玛丽卡：因为我不喜欢天热。我不喜欢热的感觉，流汗，我会感觉不舒服的。

Todd: OK. Well, it's pretty hot in Japan so you must not like summer here.

托德： 哦，那日本那边那么热，你一定不喜欢那边的夏天。

Marika: No, I don't.

玛丽卡：嗯，不喜欢。

Todd: Is it hot in summer where you're from?

托德： 你家乡夏天热吗?

Marika: Yeah, it's pretty hot but usually we go away on the weekends to cottages and we go swimming in lakes and stuff.

玛丽卡：热，非常热。但是通常我们周末就会去乡村木屋，在湖里之类的地方游泳。

Todd: Oh, that's nice. Where are you from by the way?

托德： 哦，真好。顺便问一句，你来自哪里?

Marika: Canada.

玛丽卡：加拿大。

Todd: So, what's your favorite season?

托德： 那，你最喜欢的季节是哪个?

Marika: Winter or fall.

玛丽卡：冬天或秋天。

Todd: OK. Well, what do you do in the winter?

托德： 好，那，你在冬天的时候做什么?

Marika: In the winter, activities you mean?

玛丽卡：冬天，你是说玩什么吗?

Todd: Yeah.

托德： 是。

Marika: I go snow boarding and I go to onsens and I walk around and I enjoy the cold weather.

玛丽卡：滑雪， 泡温泉，漫步，享受寒冷的天气。
