这下(某人)该知道(做某事的)后果了，这下(某人)该知道(不应做某事了)

它使用的场景是这样的：

You can say this after something bad has happened to someone who should have been more careful, or should have known better.

你可以在某人发生了不好的事情之后，这件不好的事情是他本来应该更小心，或者应该更清楚的时候说这句话。

例：

A: Have you heard? Matthew was cycling home last night and crashed into a car.

你听说了吗，马修昨晚骑自行车回家时撞车了。

B: That'll teach him, riding his bicycle without lights as usual.

这下他该知道像往常一样骑自行车没有灯是不行的了。

That'll teach him to go out without his house keys!

那就是他不带房门钥匙出去的教训。
