29.Christmas Day圣诞节
Christmas Day always begins before breakfast.圣诞节常在早饭前开始。
The children wake up very early,孩子们醒来非常早,
and can't wait to open the presents in their stockings.和迫不及待地打开他们袜子里面的礼物。
Then they wake up their parents calling:然后他们醒来的时候,他们的父母打电话:
" Merry Christmas!" “圣诞快乐!”
What does Christmas mean? 圣诞节是什么意思?
Christmas Day is the birthday of Jesus Christ.圣诞节是耶稣基督的生日。
When he was born nearly two thousand years ago, 当他出生近二千年前,
many people gave him presents. 许多人送给他礼物。
So today people still do the same thing to each other. 所以今天人们仍然做同样的事情到每个其他。
Everyone likes presents,每个人都喜欢礼物,
but they think it's better to give than to receive.但他们认为这是给与比接受更好。
