【注释】源自17世纪法国著名的寓言作家拉?封丹(Jean de La Fontaine)的《猴子与猫》(The Monkey and the Cat)： 一只狡猾聪明的猴子想吃火里的栗子，却又 怕烫伤自己，就哄骗单纯的猫从火中取出烤熟的栗 子。结果猫把栗子取出来，猫爪子也被烫伤了，而栗 子却被猴子吃了个精光。变体：make a cat’s paw of somebody (利用某人作为工具或爪牙)。
