【注释】源自《圣经诗篇》第17章第8节：“求你保护 我，如同保护眼中的瞳仁，将我隐藏在你翅膀的荫 下 d ”( Guard me as die apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. Psalms 17:8)另，《申命记》第 32章第10节也出现：“他环绕他、看顾他、保护他 如同保护眼中的瞳仁。”(He shielded him, cared for him, guarded him as the apple of his eye. Deuteronomy 32:10)现表示“特别珍视的东西或人”。
