     B：Hi.
     A：I wanted to make sure you received my résumé.
     B：Yes，we got it.Let me review you résumé and I'll give you a call.
     A：Great，you may find my contact way on my résumé.
     B：OK，you should be hearing from me in the next couple of days.
     A：Very well，I'm looking forward to it.
     A：你好，我是琳达。
     B：你好。
     A：我想确认你们是否收到了我的简历。
     B：是的，收到了。让我看看你的简历，然后再给你回电话。
     A：太好了。你可以在我的简历上找到联系方式。
     B：好的，几天内你就会收到我的回复。
     A：很好。我正期待着呢。

     A：Let's review all the résumé s we received last month for our vacancy in the R＆D Department.
     B：This one looks great.The applicant had six years of working experience in the field of data communication.Also，he was in charge of the computer division of the Bank of China.
     A：His education background is also quite outstanding.He graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in data communication and later obtained a master's degree from Harvard.
     B：Yes.His résumé is very impressive.Looking just at that，I'd say he is qualified.
     A：我们来看一下上个月收到的应聘研发部门空缺职位的所有简历。
     B：这份看起来不错！应聘者有六年数据通信领域的工作经验。他曾在中国银行计算机处担任过主管。
     A：他的教育背景也相当不错。他毕业于西安交通大学数据通信专业，后来在哈佛获得硕士学位。
     B：是的。他的简历给人印象很深。单从简历看，我认为他是合适人选。

     （A girl sent her A girl sent her résumé to a company for a position.A few minutes later，she phoned to make sure whether the résumé is received.）
     A：Hi，this is Jane Lin.I faxed my A girl sent her résumé to you a few minutes ago.And I want to make sure you received it.
     B：Yes，we got it.
     A：Great.I'm very interested in talking with you some more about this position.
     B：Well，let me review your résumé and I'll give you a call.
     A：Great，you may call me at either my office or at home.
     B：OK，you should be hearing from me in the next couple of days.
     A：I look forward to it.
     B：Thank you for calling.
     A：Thanks.

     A：我是林简，我在几分钟前把我的简历传真给你们了。我想确认你们是否收到了。
     B：是的，我们收到了。
     A：那很好，我很有兴趣多谈一些关于这个职务的事。
     B：我先看看你的简历，随后会打电话给你。
     A：好，你可以打电话到我的办公室或家里。
     B：好的，几天内你会收到我的回复。
     A：我期待着。
     B：谢谢你打电话来。
     A：谢谢。

     A：Could you help me revise my résumé before I send it out to the Human Resources Department？
     B：Sure，let me have a look...Personal Information，Career Goals，EducationalBackground，WorkingExperience，Computer Skills，Personality...I think your résumé looks great，but why don't you cover your Language Skills into it？I know you can speak English，Spanish and Japanese very fluently.
     A：But I don't think languages are quite related to the position I apply for.You know I want to be a computer engineer.Shouldn't everything I put on my résumé have something to do with　my field？
     B：I think people would be impressed by your language abilities.Only a few people could speak three foreign languages.Your language skill says something about your talents and experience.
     A：My résumé is just a piece of paper.Do you think the manager of Human Resources Department can tell if I am talented and well-rounded by just looking at my résumé？
     B：You're right.The résumé is limited in how much it can tell someone about a person.But it can be helpful in giving a good impression to a potential employer.
     A：我把简历寄给人力资源部之前，你能帮我修改一下吗？
     B：当然可以。让我看看......个人信息、求职意向、教育背景、工作经验、电脑技能、个人性格......你的简历看上去不错，但是为什么你不把自己的语言水平这项包括进去呢？我知道你讲英语、西班牙语和日语都很流利。
     A：但是我认为语言能力和我应聘的职位没有什么关系。我想做一名电脑工程师。我写进简历的东西不是都应该和我的研究领域相关吗？
     B：我想人们会对你的语言能力留下深刻的印象。没有多少人能讲三门外语。你的语言水平可以说明你的才华和经历。
     A：我的简历只不过是一张纸而已。你觉得人力资源部经理仅仅看一下简历就能知道我是个有才华、全面发展的人吗？
     B：你说得对。简历在说明一个人有多大能力方面是有限的。但是简历可以帮助你给未来的雇主留下良好的印象。

     A：Could you do me a favor and proofread my résumé before I send it out to the Human Resources Department？
     B：Sure，let me take a look...Personal Information，Education，Experience，Training...I think you should add another section for Language.You speak three languages，so you might as well put that on your résumé.
     A：But languages don't have anything to do with engineering.Shouldn't everything I put on my résumé have something to do with my field？
     B：Not necessarily.I think people would be impressed by your language abilities.It says something about your level of intellect and experience.Also，I think human resources directors want to see more of a well-rounded person in a résumé.
     A：It's just a piece of paper，you think that they can tell if I am a well-rounded person by looking at it？
     B：Well，you're right.The résumé is limited in how much it can tell someone about a person.That's why job interviews are important to let people know the real you that they can't see from a piece of paper.But résumécan be helpful in explaining things and giving a good impression to a potential employer.
     A：我把简历寄给人力资源部之前，你能帮忙校对一下吗？
     B：当然可以，让我看看......个人信息、教育、经历、培训......我认为你应该把语言这一项再加上。你会讲三种语言，所以你最好把这些写进简历。
     A：可是语言与工程技术没什么关系。我写进简历的东西不一定都与我的研究领域相关吧？
     B：不一定。我想人们会对你的语言能力留下深刻印象。这能说明你的智商水平和经历。而且，我认为人力资源部门的领导希望从简历中更多地了解一下一个更全面发展的人才。
     A：这只不过是一张纸，你认为他们看一下就能知道我是个全面发展的人才吗？
     B：好了，你说得对，简历在说明一个人有多大能力方面确实是有限的。这也是为什么求职面试那么重要，它能让人们了解真实的你，这是他们从纸上无法看出来的。可是简历在说明一些情况方面还是有帮助的，而且能给你未来的雇主留下良好印象。
