The thing I use to get rid of the hair is the razor, "razor." 我是用剃须刀(razor)来去除毛发的。

A razor is like a knife, it has a blade, "blade," and the blade is the thing that actually cuts the hair — that removes the hair. 剃须刀就像小刀，它有刀片(blade)，事实上是刀片在剔除毛发——去除毛发的。

So, you have a razor that you use to shave the whiskers from your face. 因此，你有一把剔除脸上胡须的剃须刀。

A whisker, "whisker," is the name we give the hair on your face, at least for a man, we call those whiskers. 胡须(whisker)，是脸上毛发的名称，反正对男人来说，我们称之为胡须。

So, you can have an electric razor, like I used to have, or you can have a hand razor. 所以，你既可以像我以前那样，有个电动剃须刀，也可以有个手动剃须刀。

A hand razor is one that is not electric that you just take and you shave by moving the razor back and forth on your face. 手动剃须刀不是电动的，你得拿着它并在脸上来回移动来刮胡子。

Before I shave, I have to "lather up with shaving cream." 在刮胡子之前，我得“先在脸部涂上剃须膏。”
