The comedian and actor Volodymyr Zelenskiy has won a landslide victory in Ukraine's presidential election. Full results are not yet in. But his rival the incumbent Petro Poroshenko acknowledged defeat after exit polls show Mr.Zelenskiy has won about 70% of the vote. Mr.Poroshenko said he will leave office next month.

A wave of coordinated bomb attacks across Sir Lanka have left at least 207 people dead and hundreds injured . Three churches were targeted during Easter Service. Three high-end hotels in the capital Colombo were also hit. Later, there were two blasts in the suburbs. Most of the blasts were suicide attacks. The prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said 8 people have been arrested. He said all of them were Sri Lankans. But investigations were underway on any possible international connections. The government has imposed an immediate nationwide curfew.
