If at times you feel you want to cry
当你想哭的时候
And life seems such a trial

Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky
抬头看看蓝天
So make your tears a smile
相信你会破涕为笑
As you travel on life's way
生命的旅途中
With its many ups and downs
难免有起起伏伏
Remember it's quite true to say one smile is worth a dozen frowns
要记得，微笑能使歧路变坦途
Among the world's expensive things, a smile is very cheap
世间无价之物甚众，微笑并不位列其中
And when you give a smile away
但当你以笑示人
You get one back to keep
却也能将对方的笑容收入囊中
Happiness comes at times to all
欢乐有时来
But sadness comes unbidden
苦闷不期至
And sometimes a few tears must fall
即便是笑靥
Among the laughter hidden
有时也难隐涕泗
So when friends have sadness on their face
所以当挚友愁容满面
And troubles round them piled
身陷囹圄时
The world will seem a better place
能使世界少一丝残酷的
And all because you smiled
可能就是你的笑脸
