vii. 关系代词as
1. as可指人也可指物，多与such, the same连用，构成such ... as, the same ... as结构。
I don't like such books as you are reading these days.
我不喜欢这些天来你们在读的这类书籍。
They are the same people as I met with in Shanghai the other day.
他们就是前几天我在上海见过的同一些人。
2. such ... as意为“诸如……之类的”，as在从句中作主语、宾语或表语。
Such books as you bought yesterday are good.
昨天你买的这类书很好。
Such friends as you have made are good persons.
你所交的这些朋友都是好人。
I have never heard of such a clever boy as he is!
我从来没有听说过像他这样聪明的孩子!
Have you heard of such a story as he told just now?
你听说过刚才他讲述的这样的故事吗？
注意： such ... that意为“如此……以至于”时，引导的是结果状语从句，that在从句中不作任何成分。
He is such a good student that all the teachers like very much. （定语从句）
他是所有老师都喜欢的这么一个好学生。
He is such a good student that all the teachers like him very much.(结果状语从句)
他是如此好的学生以至于所有老师都喜欢他。
3. the same ... as意为“与……相同的”，as在从句中作主语、宾语、表语；在意义上，定语从句指与先行词同一类的人/物。
I'd like to buy the same pen as you are using.
我想买与你正在用的相同的钢笔。
Don't make the same mistakes as you made last time.
不要犯你上次犯过的同样的错误。
This is the same pen as was lost by me last night.
这与我昨天夜里丢的那支钢笔一模一样。
4. the same ... that在意义上，定语从句指与先行词是同一个人/物。
This is the same book that I read last week.
这就是我上周读的那本书。
This is the same boy that helped me the other day.
这就是前几天帮过我的男孩儿。
