Huawei Founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei held a dialogue session with two of the world's most prominent thinkers, George Gilder and Nicholas Negroponte, on some of the hot-button issues in technology at the company’s headquarters in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen.

The world benefits from cooperation, Negroponte said. "I come from a world where what we value isn't trade; we value knowledge," he added.
