巴黎香街变身露天电影院

Last Sunday night, 1,700 people flocked to the Champs-Elysées to see French fantasy comedy Les Visiteurs on a giant screen positioned 100 meters in front of the Arc de Triomphe.

上周日晚，1700人聚集到香榭丽舍大街，在凯旋门前100米处架设的巨型屏幕上观看法国奇幻喜剧《时空急转弯》。

The event was an initiative by the Champs-Elysées Committee as well as partners including the City of Paris and France's National Cinema Center.

这次活动是由香榭丽舍大街委员会、巴黎市政府和法国国家电影中心共同举办的。

And it was no small feat, requiring a crane to lift the six-ton 180 square meters screen, 30 meters into the air to install it.

这并不是一次小型活动，需要动用起重机将重达6吨、面积为180平米的屏幕吊离地面30米进行安装。

 

The lucky attendees, restricted to 1,700 due to security worries, were chosen at random from a total of 16,000 participants.

The screening is part of an effort to promote the Champs-Elysées in an intelligent way.

此次放映活动是以巧妙方式宣传香榭丽舍大街的部分举措。

"It's amazing to be sitting on the Champs-Élysées to watch a movie," one woman told AFP. "Everyone is very excited by the experience."

一位女子向法新社透露：“坐在香榭丽舍大街上看一部电影，这真的是太棒了。所有人都对这一经历感到兴奋不已。”
