　　husband： doctor ， would you please treat disease of my wife? She sings and dances round the clock ， sometimes just like an actress . And sometimes she laughs loudly as well as crys . Maybe she is mad.

　　Doctor： What else?

　　H： In very severe cases， she beated some persons and wanted to kill someone.

　　D： How log has she been like this?

　　H： Over one week ， but her condition has been getting worse to worse for a few days.

　　D： Now ， let me give her a neurological examination . But some further examinations should be done ， including an electroencephalogram and a brain scan and so on .

　　H： Doctor ， is her disease very serious ? Is it curable?

　　D： Yes . this case could be cured . But she may have a relapse . This is a natural phenomenon . Don't worry.

　　H： At what cases and when might a relapse have?

　　D： It is hard to say that . For it varies from individual to individual . perhaps a long or a short time . It may be a few days ， or a few months . In a word ， it relies on a great many factors ， such as circumstances ， rest ， treatment and so forth.

　　D： Because her condition is very serious ， I suggest she should go to a psychiatric hospital to be treated . It is a special hospital for treating such patients . A stay in that hospital for a long period of intensive treatment may be curable.

　　丈夫：医生，请您给我妻子治一治病吧!她昼夜不停地唱歌、跳舞，有时就象一个演员。有时她还大哭大笑。她可能是疯了。

　　医生：还有什么症状?

　　丈夫：病重时，她还要打人或要杀人。

　　医生：她象这样有多久了?

　　丈夫：有一个多星期了，可是近几天病情越来越重。

　　医生：现在我全面地给她做一个神经科检查。不过还要做进一步的检查。

　　如脑电图和脑扫描等。

　　丈夫：医生，她的病很重吗?能治好吗?

　　医生：是的，这种病是能治愈的，但可能会有反复。这是自然的，不要着急。

　　丈夫：什么情况下，或什么时候可能有反复呢?

　　医生：很难说。因为情况因人而异。有的人可能时间长，有的则可能短。也许是几天，或几个月。总之，反复和许多因素有关。如：外界环境、休息情况，治疗情况等等。

　　医生：由于她的病很重，我建议将她转到精神病院去治疗。那是治疗这种病人的专门医院。在那儿住上一段较长时间的医院，进行积极治疗，她的病是会好的。
