朝韩“离散家属会面”

　　The first reunion of families separated by the Korean War in more than three years began on Thursday afternoon in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s Mount Kumgang resort.

　　三年多以来首次朝韩离散家属会面活动于周四下午在朝鲜金刚山酒店举行。

　　“朝韩离散家属会面”可用上文中的reunion of families separated by the Korean War来表示。朝鲜战争(Korean War)于1950年6月25日爆发，历经3年苦战后在1953年7月27日签订停战协定(armistice)。

　　此次会面历时三天，分别有私人会面(private meeting)、集体午餐(group lunch)以及集体会面(mass gathering)等形式。因申请会面者均年事已高，韩国某研究机构建议，朝韩双方应该为80岁以上申请者额外举办一次大规模会面活动，同时，应为双方亲人互通信件(exchange of letters)、视频会面(video reunion)以及确认生死(confirmation of life and death)提供便利。
