政协开幕为昆明恐暴案遇难者“默哀”

　　Members of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) pay silent tribute to the victims of the Saturday terrorist attack in southwestern city of Kunming, at the opening of the second session of the 12th National Committee of the CPPCC in Beijing on March 3, 2014.

　　中国人民政治协商会议第十二届全国委员会全体成员在3月3日的全国政协十二届二次会议开幕式上为周六(3月1日)昆明恐怖袭击事件中的遇难者默哀。

　　“默哀”(silent tribute)是对逝者表示悼念的一种方式，“为…默哀”可用pay silent tribute to someone或observe a moment of silence for someone表示。在互联网普及的今天，不少人还会在网上敬献虚拟花圈(virtual wreath)对逝者进行网上悼念(online tribute)。四川汶川地震和青海玉树地震后，国家都设立了全国哀悼日(national mourning day)，对遇难者进行悼念。
