　　A dispute has erupted between two of China'spowerful medical and scientific organizations afterthe sudden death of a pregnant employee of one ofthe groups at a Beijing hospital.

　　近日，在北京一家医院住院的一名中科院职工孕妇突然死亡，在此之后，中国最大的医学机构和最大的科学组织之间爆发了一次纠纷。

　　The deceased woman's family was accused by thehospital of destroying hospital property and chasingand beating some hospital staff members. Thewoman's husband denies the accusation.

　　该女性死者的家属被院方指责肆意毁坏医院公物，追打医院的员工。但是，这名女性的丈夫对此矢口否认。

　　A woman surnamed Yang, 34, who worked at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistryunder the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was admitted to Peking University Third Hospital forhypertension on Dec 28, according to the hospital.

　　这名女性姓杨，今年34岁，在中科院的理化所就职。根据医院方面的表示，这名女性在12月28日被送往北医三院。

　　

　　Yang was 26 weeks pregnant when she entered the hospital and was in stable condition aftertreatment, the statement said. However, she complained of pain before her heart stopped onJan 11, and she died despite emergency resuscitation efforts, the hospital said.

　　声明表示，当杨女士进入医院的时候，已经妊娠26周，住院后情况稳定。但是，在1月11日杨女士心脏停止跳动之前，曾表示自己很痛苦。院方表示，尽管做了紧急复苏的努力，但最终杨女士还是去世了。

　　Autopsy results showed that Yang died of an aortic rupture, which is fatal in most cases, thehospital said. High blood pressure and pregnancy are among the risk factors for the condition,according to the US National Institutes of Health website.

　　尸检结果显示，杨女士是因主动脉破裂而死亡。院方也表示，这在任何情况下都是致命的。据美国国立卫生研究院网站显示，高血压与妊娠是引起这种情况的危险因素。

　　The CAS institute that employed Yang said in a statement on its website on Saturday that itsent an official letter to the hospital on Thursday requesting a thorough investigation into thedeath of Yang in response to her family's concerns. It demanded a "fair, transparent andthorough" investigation.

　　杨女士所在的中国科学院星期六在其网站上发表声明称，在星期四曾将一份官方信函送往北医三院，信中要求该院对杨女士之死进行彻底调查，以给她的家人一个交代。信函一再强调要进行“公正、透明、彻底的”调查。

　　Lawyers said it is not proper for the institute to send the letter to address a private issuebetween a patient and a hospital.

　　相关律师认为，中科院理化所出具的公函介入医院和病人之间的私务实在是一种不恰当的行为。
