　　准时是文明社会中进行一切社交活动时必须养成的习惯。

　　语言点 sth.is a necessary habit的意思是“某事是必须养成的习惯”。

　　2.Without it, nothing could ever be brought to a conclusion; everything would be instate of chaos.

　　不准时将一事无成，事事都会陷入混乱不堪的境地。

　　语言点1 句子结构分析:句首的without it表示假设，可改写为if it were not for it，…。

　　语言点2 bring to a conclusion的意思是“形成结论”。

　　语言点3 be in stale of意思是“处于…的状态”。
