[00:00.15]Some in my country fear that China's research and development will overtake America's, 一些美国人担心中国的科研与发展将会超越美国， [00:06.34]but I believe that America and the world will benefit from China's scientific and technological advances. 但我认为美国和世界其他国家都能从中国的科技进步中受益。 [00:13.53]I think we will benefit from that. 我相信我们会从中受益。 [00:15.33]If China makes advances in stem cell research, 如果中国在骨髓干细胞研究方面取得进展， [00:20.53]the rest of the world will benefit from that. 世界其他国家都会从中受益。 [00:23.08]If China discovers an energy breakthrough, 如果中国在能源方面取得突破， [00:25.42]this is good for the rest of the world, such as the benefit of a free market. 这会像开放自由市场一样使世界其他国家受益。 [00:31.00]Some fear that China will buy up American companies, 一些人担心中国将收购美国公司， [00:34.06]but that fear also existed in the 80s, 类似的担忧在80年代也存在， [00:36.30]when America feared that Japan was going to buy up American companies. 当时美国担心日本会收购美国公司。 [00:40.24]So what?
