Bite your tongue.
请保持沉默。
bite your tongue直译过来就是：“咬住你自己的舌头”，这个短语的正确意思是：“保持沉默，忍住不说”。因此，当美国人说"Bite your tongue."时，他/她要表达的意思就是:"Keep silence."、"Don't speakout."、"Don't tattle about other people's business."。

Jane: Hey, what do you think of the tie that our boss is wearing?
