[00:00.32]I've been doing my show now for almost 25 years. Feels like 125, but almost 25 years. 我主持我的节目将尽25年了。确切地说还不到25年，但感觉像是过了125年似的。 [00:06.54]And my greatest lessons have come from my work; talking to murderers, 这些年来，我从工作中学到了许多东西；不管是跟凶手谈话也好， [00:13.56]doing makeovers, learning about flesh-eating diseses, have all been great growing tools for me, 给嘉宾做大变身也好，对肉腐性疾病做调查也好，都丰富了我的人生， [00:21.41]because I look at life every day from the experience of what can I grow from this. 因为我每天都在借鉴别人的生活经验来使自己成长。 [00:29.20]Actually, the show is why I never needed therapy. 事实上，有了这档节目我从不需要别的治疗。 [00:33.02]Well, I might have needed therapy, but I never went to therapy, 或者，也许我需要接受治疗，但是我从没有去过。 [00:36.48]because I have learned ao many lessons from our show and the people I've met. 因为我从自己主持的节目中接触的人群中学到了许多。 [00:43.23]And the miracle for me is that almost 25 years later, I get to go to work every day and I am still learning. 对我来说，在将尽25年后，每天去工作发现自己仍然在学习，这简直就是个奇迹。 [00:50.45]I just finished taping a show this week with so many powerful lessons that I wanted to weep, 我这个星期刚刚录制完的一期节目让我学到了很多教训，让我想流泪， [00:57.24]but I want to share some of those lessons with you today. 今天我想跟你们分享一些。 [01:00.11]As a matter of fact, there were so many lessons in the show that I taped just last week, 实际上，那期节目真的可以让我们学到很多， [01:03.48]that's going to air next week, you'll see it, I did weep. 这将会在下周播放，你们也都会看到，我真的哭了。 [01:07.11]It was about some tough guys in prison for murder, for manslaughter , armed robbery, guys full of anger and violence. 节目是关于罪犯的，他们有的因为谋杀罪，有的因为过失杀人罪，有的因为持枪械抢劫罪被关进监狱。这群人满怀愤怒，极具暴力倾向。 [01:18.39]And they're involved in this program where dogs,little puppies,are taken from shelters and the eight-week-old puppies are given to the prisoners, 这群罪犯参与了一项计划，那就是驯养刚从避难所里抱出来的两个月大的小狗崽。 [01:31.36]eight-week-old puppies that would have otherwise been euthanized. 如果不由他们来驯养，这些小狗就会被处以安乐死。 [01:33.55]The puppies live right in the prison cells with the prisoners 24 hours a day. 就这样，小狗崽一天24小时都跟犯人们生活在监狱里。 [01:41.18]And I forgot to ask them...how they housebreak them, because it's not like you can say,"I need to take the dog out." 我忘了问，他们怎样驯养这些小狗崽呢？因为它们不能像常人那样说一句“我需要把狗带出去”就可以去遛狗。
