[00:28.66]Each was then subjected to mental agility [00:31.99]and memory tests. [00:33.97]The researchers discovered [00:34.98]that the "evening types" had significantly [00:37.11]better mental speed and memory. [00:39.79]"The results indicate that,contrary to [00:41.82]conventional folk wisdom,evening types are [00:44.49]more likely to have higher intelligence scores, [00:48.02]Roberts told Sunday Telegraph. [00:50.43]He also suggested that the link between [00:52.38]intelligence and working late may be a [00:54.78]hang-over from prehistoric times,when those who [00:57.99]were still alert after dark would be more [01:00.84]likely to survive attacks by [01:02.98]nocturnal predators.
