　　1.Civil Society

　　Civil society is the "aggregate of non-governmental organizations and institutions that manifest interests and will of citizens." Civil society includes the family and the private sphere, referred to as the "third sector" of society, distinct from government and business.

　　公民社会是指围绕共同的利益、目的和价值上的非强制性的集体行为。它不属于政府的一部分，也不属于盈利的私营经济的一部分。换而言之，它是处于“公”与“私”之间的一个领域。通常而言，它包括了那些为了社会的特定需要，为了公众的利益而行动的组织，诸如指慈善团体、非政府组织、社区组织、专业协会及工会等等。

　　An ideology is a set of conscious and/or unconscious ideas which constitute one's goals, expectations, and actions.

　　意识形态，属哲学范畴，可以理解为对事物的理解、认知，它是一种对事物的感观思想，是观念、观点、概念、思想、价值观等要素的总和。意识形态不是人脑中固有的，而是源于社会存在。

　　A think tank is an organization that performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, military, technology, and culture. Most policy institutes are non-profit organizations, which some countries such as the United States and Canada provide with tax exempt status. Other think tanks are funded by governments, advocacy groups, or businesses, or derive revenue from consulting or research work related to their projects.

　　智库又称智囊团，大多以“研究所”或“学会”为名称，是对政治、商业或军事政策进行调查、分析研究并提供策略的机构，一般由政府、政党或商业公司出资组建，志在为他们的政策寻找感觉上可以立足的理据。
