　　1. across:

　　1)穿过，跨过：

　　I walked across the park.

　　我从公园穿了过去。

　　There are little bridges across the canal.

　　在运河上有许多小桥。

　　2)在……对面：

　　The school was across the street.

　　学校在街对面。

　　He lives across the river.

　　他住在河对面。

　　3)用于下面成语：

　　Where did you come across him?

　　你在哪里碰到他的?

　　I ran across him yesterday.

　　我是昨天碰到他的。

　　2. after:

　　l)在……之后：

　　It is easy to be wise after the event.

　　当事后诸葛亮是容易的。(谚)

　　我后天来看你。

　　2)在……后面：
