　　1 .目的状语从句：目的状语从句多由that, so that, in order that, lest, for fear that 等引起：

　　Ask her to hurry up with these letters so that I can sign them.

　　让她把这几封信赶快打好我好签字。

　　I posted the letter today in order that you'd get it tomorrow.

　　我今天把信发出，以便你明天能收到。

　　I wrote down the date of his birthday lest I should forget it.

　　我把他生日写下来以防忘掉。

　　Shut the windows for fear ( that ) it may rain.

　　把窗子关上以防下雨。

　　He took the gun in case he met any wild animals.

　　他带上枪以防遇到野兽。

　　She said she wanted tea ready at six so she could be out by eight.

　　她说她要在六点时让下午茶准备好，以便她八点能出去。

　　2 .结果状语从句：表示结果的状盈从句可由that, so that, so … that, such … that 等词引起：

　　It's so hot here that it makes me thirsty.

　　这梨璞么热，使我都感到口渴了。

　　Daddy has a stick os he won't slip.

　　爸爸有根拐棍因此不会滑倒。

　　The park just opened, so it won't be very crowed yet.

　　公园刚开门，因此还不会太拥挤。

　　She was so exhausted that she slept at once.

　　The cnnnection is so bad ( that ) I can hardly hear you.
