Undoubtedly, one of the greatest inventions in the field of communications is the cell phone. You can keep in touch with your friends no matter where and when. However, as there are exceptions to every scenario ( 情节、情况), the misuses of your cell phone can become a nuisance for other people. Therefore, you must be aware of the following basic "etiquette"( 礼节).

When you are in a public place like shopping mall, theater, restaurant or elevator, please keep your conversations brief and try your best to lower your voice. It is important to understand that the general public is not interested in your private conversations; and your conversations should not disturb the people around you.

当你在商场、电影院、餐厅或是电梯等公共场所打电话时，请尽量言简意贱，缩短通话时间井压低讲话声音。有一点你应当明白，那就是大家对于你的私人谈话没有兴趣，因此你的谈话不应当对你周围的人造成干扰。

You'd better not make a phone call when you are driving, since you are risking the lives of many other people on the road, as well as your own. If there is something emergent, just stop your car near the roadside for a while.

当你在驾驶时，最好不要打电话，因为你是在拿过路行人以及自己的生命开玩笑。如果真的有紧急情况需要打电话时，请先将车停靠在路边。

Please turn off your cell phone or keep it in silent mode when you are participating in some interviews, meetings, negotiations and so on.
