学英语是在study English还是learn English呢？

learn 和 study 的区别

learn 和 study 总共有下面四个区别：

首先，learn 强调的是获得知识的结果，偏向于“学会”的意思;而 study 强调的是学习知识的过程，更偏向于“学习”的意思。

I learn English well, because Michael is a great teacher.

我英语学得很好，因为 Michael 是一个好老师。

I study English, and Michael is teaching me.

我在学英语，教我的老师是 Michael.

其次， learn 更倾向于指学习一门技能或一种技巧，而 study 倾向于指课堂上能学习到的知识。

Jane learned how to do her job quickly after two months.

两个月后，Jane 学会了如何快速处理她的工作。

He studied computer science in college.

他在大学里学的是计算机科学。

此外，learn 除了“学习”，还有“得知”的意思;而 study 除了“学习”还有“研究”的意思，还可作为名词使用。

I learn the sensational news in this morning.

我今天早上得知了这个爆炸性新闻。

最后，learn 是瞬间动词，后面往往跟的是时间点，而 study 是延续性动词，后面一般跟的是一个时间段。

I learned the whole story the moment I saw her.

我看见她的那一瞬间，我就明白了事情的始末。

I have studied the subject for around ten years.

我这个科目已经学了10年了。
