CNN News:26个州立法院反对奥巴马移民政策

First up, a significant legal ruling. It concerns President Obama`s executive action on immigration. He announced it last November. The action would have allowed as many as 5 million living in the U.S. illegally to stay in the country without the threat of being deported.

首先，今天的新闻首相要说的是一个重要的法律裁决。这条决定关于总统奥巴马移民政策的实施。他于去年11月份宣布这一决定。决定将允许500万人口可以合法在美国居住不会受到被驱逐出境的威胁。

Most of those affected are the parents of children born in the U.S. As an executive action, this did not go through Congress. The White House says it`s legal. But no executive action had involved that many people before. And 26 states challenged it in court.

最受这条决定影响的是孩子出生在美国境内的父母。但是这一决定没有通过国会的认定。白宫方面表示这一决定是合法的。但是在此之前从没有一条决定涉及如此多的人口。并且现在有26个州立法院对这一决定发出挑战。
