The series of bombs have read through shea mosques and offices in the Yemeni capital Sanaa killing more than 30 people. The blast target has shared worships at their evening prayers and the offices belonging to the Husseins rebel movement. This man witnessed the devastation.

The two most senior defense officials in the United States says there is no way that the US will achieve its recruitment target of soldiers in Iraq. The authorities in Chad have banned the wearing of a full face veil or Burke following suicide bombings on Monday. The Prime Minister Kelsa Belpama Innediver made the announcements after meeting religious leaders. Richard Hamilton reports.

The Colombian authorities say the country’s largest rebel group the FARC has blown up an oil line pipe and contaminated the local river in the northern town of Cater Tumbol. It led to the water supply being cut off for more that 16,000 people. Attacks on oil, electricity and transport infrastructure have increased since the hard rebels suspended their unilateral ceasefire two months ago. Peace talks between the FARC and the government are continuing despite the latest incidents.
