In 2009, a nude tape was leaked of Eric Dane with his then-wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, and another woman.

A few years later, Dane told People magazine he regretted it.

"I didn't regret it. I have no regrets nor do I make any apologies for my life experience," the "Euphoria" actor recently told Glamour magazine. "It's my life experience and I am at peace with all of it."

The man who came to fame as Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan on "Grey's Anatomy" told People magazine in 2014, "We've all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca."

The character is a clean-cut family man who has a secret life, in which he meets people through apps for sexual encounters.

"I understand what it's like to lead a double life," Dane said of the role.

"I've certainly had my struggles with alcoholism, drug addiction, mental health, and I know what it's like to have to put up a facade and have an external experience not match the internal experience.
