Children can make some pretty lofty statements andgrand promises.
 And an 8-year-old boy who promised to get his dad his dream car was noexception — but then he actually made good on his word.
A Reddit user going by the username Belairboy wrote that when he was 8 years old,
 he told hisdad he would buy him a 1957 Chevy Bel Air on his 57th birthday.
“He grew up poor in a family of [seven] children.
He never thought he would be able to own hisdream vehicle but would talk about it all the time,” Belairboy wrote.
