A Bad Dream
One afternoon Ben was playing in the back yard, A big black cat jumped over the fence and lay down among his mother's plants. Ben crept up to the cat. He caught it by
the tail and dropped it into a tub of water.
His mother looked out of the window and saw him.
She called him into the house and scolded him for such a cruelty.
Then she told him that he must go to bed and stay there till evening.
Before long Ben fell asleep. He dreamed that he grew very small A very very big cat seized him in its mouth and ran away with him He kicked and screamed, but he could not get away, At last the cat dropped him and he fell into a big pond.
He sand down, down into the cold water. Then he woke up.
一个恶梦
一天下午,本正在后院,一只大黑猫跳过篱笆,躺在他母亲的植物。本爬上那只猫。他抓住它的尾巴,掉到了一桶水。
他的母亲从窗户里观看、见他。她给他进房子,责备他这样一个残酷的。然后她告诉他,他必须上床睡觉,并在那里呆到晚上。
不久,本睡着了。他梦见自己开始变得非常小的一个非常非常大猫抓住他嘴里跑掉了,他踢和尖叫,但他无法脱身,最后把他和他的猫掉进了一个大池塘。他砂下来,下到冰冷的水里。然后他就醒过来了。
