双语新闻：马来西亚、新加坡推出跨境实时支付系统互联互通

Malaysia and Singapore have announced that this week they will connect via PayNow and DuitNow, allowing people in both countries to use instant cross-border payment services. In addition, the two sides have upgraded their connectivity services. Users can easily make instant cross-border money transfers between Singapore and Malaysia by simply entering the recipient's mobile number via PayNow and DuitNow.

马来西亚与新加坡宣布，本周将通过PayNow和DuitNow连接，让两地人民使用即时跨境支付服务。此外，双方升级了互联互通服务。用户只需通过PayNow和DuitNow输入收款人的手机号码，就能方便地在新马之间进行即时跨境转帐。

The initiative follows the QR payment linkage announced at the end of March.

这项举措是在3月底宣布的二维码支付联动之后推出的。

Later this week, NETS QR and QRIS in Indonesia will also be connected, allowing Singaporeans to experience the same payment convenience as locals in Indonesia.

此外，本周晚些时候，NETS QR与印尼的QRIS也将启动连接，让新加坡人在印尼也能体验到跟当地人一样的支付便利。

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Director General Meng Boon Neng made the announcement in a speech at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2023 on Thursday (Nov 16), noting that this is one of the initiatives and cooperation projects that Singapore is working closely with financial industry and international partners to build the financial ecosystem of the future.

新加坡金融管理局局长孟文能周四（11月16日）在2023年新加坡金融科技节会上发表演讲时，作出上述宣布，并指出这是新加坡为打造未来金融生态系统，与金融业者和国际合作伙伴紧密合作的举措及合作项目之一。

In addition to the cross-border payments link with Malaysia and Indonesia, Meng said the bureau is working with the central banks of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, as well as Thailand and the BIS Innovation Centre to develop the core groundwork for the ASEAN-5 multilateral instant payments link.

除了与马来西亚和印尼的跨境支付连接，孟文能透露，该局正与马来西亚、印尼、菲律宾，以及泰国的中央银行及国际清算银行创新中心合作，为东盟5国的多边即时支付连线展开核心基础工作。
