put aside 暂时放在一边，忘记，储蓄（put by）

　　为了达成其他目的，暂时把眼下的问题、不和谐、差异等放在一边，表示“暂时搁置……”。另外，还有“储蓄”的意思。

　　例句：

　　You need to put aside your differences with her.

　　你应该和她搁置争议。

　　We have to put aside our disagreement and face reality.

　　我们不得不先放下争议，面对现实。

　　I had to put aside my anger about joining a party.
