hold off 延期，推迟

　　主要用作“推迟”，“延期”等，推迟的对象可以在 hold off 后面用 on sth 或 ( on ) ... ing 来表示。另外，还具有“阻挡某人”，“使对方无法靠近”，“（雨等）不下”的意思。
