want somebody to 想让……做……

　　表示的是跟前边学过的 I'd like somebody to 相类似的意思，并不是说我要做什么，而是想让 somebody 做. 表示拜托以及邀请的意思。

　　例句：

　　Don't lie to me. I want you to tell me the truth.

　　不要对我说谎。我想让你对我说实话。

　　He really wants you to be here. I guess he's serious.

　　他真的希望你能够在这里。我想他是认真的。

　　Do you want me to stay with you? Until when?

　　你想让我跟你待在一起吗？到什么时候为止？

　　There are some people I want you to meet.

　　我想让你见一些人。
