今天我们来学习一下Gross这个形容词的用法：

Gross：恶心

情景1：形容某个东西恶心。

Ew, there's mold all over this sandwich. It's so gross. How long has it been in fridge for? 啊，我的三明治上都长毛了，太恶心了。他在冰箱里放多久了啊。

这里 “Ew” 是表达恶心时的象声词。

 

情景2：形容食物难吃。

I hate cilantro. It's so gross. 我特别讨厌香菜，恶心死了。

情景3：形容人恶心

a) 与外表有关

A: He hasn't showered for a week. 他一周没洗澡了。
B: He's so gross. 他太恶心了。

b) 形容某种行为让人恶心

You're so gross. Stop telling dirty jokes. 你好恶心啊，不要在给我讲黄色笑话了。
