以女主唱Allison goldfrapp名字命名的Goldfrapp是一个来自英国的二人电子乐团，乐团的另一位成员是作曲家Will Gregory。无论是演唱时浓郁的英式口音还是和时而阴森 时而空灵的英国名著如出一辙的曲风，goldfrapp都可以说是最具英伦文化特色和风情的乐团。 现今身为歌手/做曲家/键盘手的Allison Goldfrapp (13 May 1966 Enfield, London)在middlesex大学主修绘画时就开始研究音乐了。还在学校的时候，她就在朋友Tricky的1995年的初次演出中露脸，然后又在这位著名电子乐手的专辑Orbital\'s Snivilisation 和 Add N以及 X\'s 中露面。到90年代末，她开始自己做曲;她的一个朋友将她的一些作品给了作曲家Will Gregory(17 September 1959 Bristol, England)，后者发现俩人在曲风上有许多共同之处，于是二人便建立了乐队，用ALLISON的姓作为乐队名字。于是在1999年签约mute之后， Goldfrapp在2000年秋天发表了它们的第一张专集Felt Mountain。
