China saw a surge in sales of new-energy passenger vehicles in July, industry data showed.

乘联会近日发布的7月销量数据显示，我国7月份新能源乘用车销量激增。

The retail sales of new-energy passenger cars reached 222,000 units, up 169.4% year on year, according to the China Passenger Car Association.

7月，国内新能源乘用车零售量相较去年同期增长了169.4%，达到22.2万辆。

The wholesale volume of new-energy passenger vehicles grew 202.9% year on year to reach 246,000 units.

7月新能源乘用车批发量在持续增长，当月批发量达到24.6万辆，较去年同期增长了202.9%。

BYD, Tesla China, SAIC-GM-Wuling, SAIC Passenger Vehicle Branch and GAC Aion all sold more than 10,000 units of new-energy passenger vehicles last month.

其中7月批发销量过万的车企有比亚迪、特斯拉中国、上汽通用五菱、上汽乘用车、广汽埃安。

In July, China's retail sales of passenger vehicles dropped 6.2% year on year to 1.5 million units.

7月国内狭义乘用车零售量为150万辆，同比下降6.2%。
