往道山道中作
Before the inn two or three flowers
客舍两三花，
Blow face to face in morning hours.
并脸开清晓。
One wet with dew and full of grace looks tender;
一朵涓涓韵已高，
Another rises like smoke slender.
一朵纤纤袅。
Who will pin the reds in your hair
谁与插斜红？
To vie with spring to be more fair?
拥髻争春好。
I know from far away they’re sent to you in dreams.
此意遥知梦已传，
The village’s silent with setting moonbeams.
月落前村悄。
