循环往复的运动变化，是道的运动，道的作用是微妙、柔弱的。天下的万物产生于看得见的有形质，有形质又产生于不可见的无形质。

第四十章

反者道之动，
弱者道之用。
天下万物生于有，
有生于无。

Chapter 40

Reversion is the action of Tao.
Gentleness is the function of Tao.
The things of this world come from Being,
And Being (comes) from Non-being.
