　　A: Can you believe Mr. White came to work dressed like a woman today? That rates a laugh for sure. I can’t believe his wife let him borrow her clothes!

　　B: What’s really funny is that we didn’t recognize him. We welcomed the beautiful young lady! That was a good one on me. I nearly died laughing.

　　A: That cracked me up to. That Mr. White is always a million laughs!

　　A: 你相信吗?White先生今天来上班时打扮得像个女人!搞笑死了!真是不敢相信他妻子竟然会同意把她的衣服借给他。

　　B: 更有趣的是我们没认出他来，还把他当作一位漂亮的年轻女士款待。真是好笑，我都要笑死了。

　　A: 我也笑得肚皮都快破了。那位White先生总是能制造出这么多笑料!

　　【语言点精讲】

　　rate a laugh: rate在这里的意思是“值得”。用来形容某人或某事很搞笑，但是语气不是很强烈。

　　die laughing: 用来形容听到或看到极搞笑的人或事之后的反应，“笑死了，笑得上不来气”。这是个语气很强的褒义短语。

　　crack up: 忍不住大笑。

　　a million laughs: 用来形容某人或某事非常的有趣。是个褒义短语，但多少有些过时。
