Betty和Peter已经订婚，Peter建议两人做一下婚礼的准备工作。先选个好日子，把该预订的事情提前预订好，请柬也要提前发给朋友们。

P: Honey,since we're engaged, we've to prepare for our wedding.
B: Up to you.
P: First, we should choose a red-letter day.
B: What day is a good day?
P: How about August 8th?
B: It's my birthday. You're so clever. You'll buy one present for two big days.
P: That's why you marry me. No kidding. We've a lot to take care of. We have to take wedding photos and buy wedding dresses.
B: I'm really expecting. And then?
P: We also need to reserve some cars and a luxury hotel for our wedding party.
B: No, mid-range hotel is good enough for us. I don't want to spend too much on an extravagant wedding reception.
P: You're so sweet.
B: Anything else we have to prepare?
P: We have to send our wedding invitations to our friends.
B: No problem I will take care of it.

2.need 的/d/失去爆破，to 弱读为/tə/，need to 读作/nɪ tə/。
3.mid-range 是更正信息，需要重读。

更正信息需要重读
当一方说错某件事，另一方更正对方的错误时，需要强调正确的信息，这时正确的信息就要重读。如：
A: Do you lose your purse again?
你又把钱包弄丢了?
B：No.I keep it in my pocket.
没有，在我包里呢。
我没有“弄丢”，而是“放在”包里了，所以keep要重读。)
A: I will come here again on Thursday.
我星期四再来。
B：You should come on Tuesday.
你应该星期二来。
(强调不是“星期四”来，而是“星期二”来，所以Tuesday要重读。)
