洋洋：心涛，你怎么看今天早上公司宣布的重大消息？

心涛：你是指咱们公司和麦肯锡公司合并的事吧？我听小道消息说这根本不是合并，而是他们把咱们公司给吞并了。

洋洋：啊，不会吧。总经理不是说只是平级合并吗？新公司成立后一切不变，会实现平稳过渡的。

心涛：这话你也相信？麦肯锡公司靠什么出名的，你听说过吗？他们一贯就是先吞并公司然后再拆分出售，他们可不是什么友好平等的合作伙伴。

洋洋：但是总经理不是说这次两家公司是为了相互合作，实现双赢才合并的吗？

心涛：我才不信呢。你看着吧，咱们离失业不远了。

 

Yangyang: Xintao, what do you think of the great new announced by our company this morning?

Xintao: You mean that the merger between our company and McKinsey Company? There are rumors that it’s nothing about merger but McKinsey Company’s annexation of our company.

Yangyang: oh, no. Didn’t the manager say it’s just a same level merger? He said the new company keep all things same as before and we will in a smooth transition.

Xintao: You believe that? Have you heard what McKinsey Company is famous for? It always mergers companies and then separates their assets. McKinsey Company is nothing like a friendly and equal cooperation friend.

Yangyang: But didn’t our General Manager say that it is for the purpose of mutual cooperation and win-win outcome that the two companies combined, did he?

Xintao: I don’t believe that. You will see, we are close to unemployment.
