青青：我妈妈生日的时候，我想带她去美国旅游。

胡子：机票买好了吗？

青青：没有呢，我妈妈没有护照，我得先帮她办理护照，再去申请签证。

胡子：听说美国的签证很难拿。

青青：是呀，这几天虽然有很多特价机票，但是我都不敢买，生怕签证被大使馆拒签了。

胡子：嗯，还是拿到签证再买机票比较保险。

 

 

Qing Qing: I want to take my mom to America for a travel when her birthday comes.

Hu Zi: Have you bought air tickets?

Qing Qing: Not yet. My mother hasn’t got a passport. I have to apply for a passport first and then for a visa.

Hu Zi: I heard American visa is sort of difficult to get.

Qing Qing: Right. Although there are good deals on tickets, I can’t buy it fearing that the visa will be refused by the embassy.

Hu Zi: Right. It’s safer to buy air tickets when you have your visa.
