每个人都有祖国，你怎么理解祖国的意义呢

我是维斯利斯，来自乌干达。
 
B: And my name is David from Kenya.
 
我是大卫，来自肯尼亚。
 
A: David, what comes to your mind, when you hear of 'motherland'?
 
大卫，当你听到“祖国”这个词的时候你会想到什么？
 
B: A lot comes into my mind. The first thing is where I was born and it reminds me of who gave birth to me. That's my mom who I really love, and the third things that comes into my mind when I hear about motherland is Africa. For me, I'm an African. That's my roots and that's what I relate to so when I hear motherland that's the first, that's one of things that comes to mind. Yeah, I'm proud to be an African.
 
我想到了很多。首先，那是我出生的地方，第二，那让我想起了生下我的母亲。我非常爱我的妈妈，我在听到“祖国”这个词时想到的第三件事是非洲。对我来说，我是非洲人。我的根在非洲，那是和我有联系的地方，所以当我听到“祖国”这个词时，我会想到这些事情。我为身为非洲人而骄傲。
