周末出差怎么样？为什么跟老板出差压力更大

A:  did you get my email?
 
你收到我的邮件了吗?
 
B:  I certainly did. Do you want to come in and give me some feedback about your weekend?
 
我收到了.你能不能过来跟我说说周末出差的情况.
 
A:  sure.
 
当然可以.
 
B:  how did the business trip go?
 
这次出差怎么样?
 
A:  well, to be honest, nothing is more stressful than going on a business trip with our boss.
 
嗯,坦白说,没什么事比跟老板出差压力更大了.
 
B:  I understand. The last time I went on a business trip with the boss, I didn't even have enough to eat!
 
我明白.上次我跟老板一起出差,我甚至连饭都吃不饱!
 
A:  I also think the company is pretty cheap with travel expenses. I spent half of the weekend on a train! Surely they could have afforded to buy a few plane tickets!
 
我还觉得我们公司差旅费定的太少了.我在火车上浪费了半个周末的时间.他们肯定能付得起几张机票钱!
 
B:  our company is quite conscious of the environmental problems that frequent flying causes.
 
咱们公司对频繁飞行造成的环境污染问题总是很敏感.
 
A:  I see. Well, then perhaps they could give me a few days off after a business trip. It was really tiring for me.
 
我明白.那出差结束后他们应该给我几天时间休假.我实在是太累了.
 
B:  I can ask the boss about giving you the day off today.
 
我可以跟老板申请让你今天休假.
 
A:  thank you. I can't imagine getting much done today. I'm just too exhausted!

B:  no problem. Did you bring any gifts back for your department?
 
没问题.你给你们部门的同事们带礼物了吗?
 
A:  no, should I have?
