上大学的，上大学了，下乡的，下乡了。(=有的上大学了，有的下乡了。)

2)On Sunday afternoon, some reviewed their lessons, and others helped the cooks in their work.

星期日下午，复习功课的复习功课，帮厨的帮厨。(=星期日下午，有的复习功课，有的帮厨。)

3)Some played soccer and others played basketball.
