Israel says it has attacked Hamas weapon's factory and arms dumps in Gaza, as tensions continue to rise following the U.S's recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. The Israeli launched air strikes in central and southern Gaza, after a Palestinian rocket slipped through Israeli missile defense system and exploded in the town of Sderot.

The New York Time has carried out an investigation which suggests the number of people who died in Puerto Rico as result of hurricane Maria is far higher than the official figure suggests. The authorities said 62 people were killed by the storm in September. But the paper's investigation said total number of death cause by the hurricane could be risen to more than 1,000.

China says it has suspended almost 70 mining projects in a vast of natural reserve in its far-west Xinjiang autonomous region. Chinese state media said gold, iron or mining will be stopped at the Altun national nature reserve in order to help restore the environment on the reserve. The region is home to herds of Tibetan yaks.

Uber technology and an Indian woman have agreed to settle a civil U.S lawsuit. The woman has accused top executive of the company improperly obtaining her medical records after an Uber driver raped her in New Delhi three years ago. The driver has been sentenced to life in prison. The lawsuit cited several medial reports in which Uber officials doubted the victim's account.
