① lofty （自以为比别人）高超的；崇高的；（自以为是的）高傲的，傲慢的（showing belief of being better than other people；consciously superior）。

② haughty高傲的，自负的，桀骜不驯的（arrogant，having or showing a high opinion of oneself）。
