give (somebody) a ride 让某人搭车

give (sb) a ride 表明让某人搭车，也可以用 a lift 代替 a ride。另外，如果用 get 替换 give 的话就会变成求某人让自己搭车，如果换成 offer 就会变成提议。

例句：

I'll give you a ride on my way home.

我回家的路上顺道送送你。

Can I get a ride with you to the hospital?

我能搭你的车到医院吗?

Need a ride? Get in. I'll drop you off wherever you want.

需要搭顺风车吗?上来，我载你去。

Do you want to go for a ride in my Porsche?

你想坐我的保时捷兜兜风吗?
